How do you auto preset radio stations?
Hello
[1] Press RADIO BAND.AUTO PRESET until the band you want appears on the display [direct power ON]. Each time you press the button the indication changes as follows. "FM" => "AM"
[2] Hold down TUNE+ or --ve until the frequency digits begin to change in the display.
The player automatically scans the radio frequencies and stops when it finda a clear station. If you can't tune in a station, press the button repeatedly to change the frequency step by step.
If FM band is noisy, press the MODE repeteadly until "MONO" appears in the display and the radio will play it monatural. If FM radio signal at your area is very weak, this type of noise may occur. OK.

1 Select the radio band and tune in a desired radio

station you wish to store in the preset memory.

2 Press (PRESET).

The Preset screen is displayed.

3 Rotate the Double Action encoder to select the

preset number.

4 Press and hold /ENTER for at least 2 seconds.

The selected station is stored.

The display shows the band, preset number and station

frequency memorized.

• A total of 18 stations can be stored in the preset memory (6 stations

for each band; FM1, FM2 and AM).

• If you store a station in a preset memory which already has a station,

the current station will be cleared and replaced with the new station.

• Press in the outer ring and rotate the Double Action encoder to the

left or right on the Preset screen, you can switch the Preset screen of

another band.

You can also change the desired radio band by pressing BAND.

I bought a used car with a Dual CD 1765 installed. It didn't come with a manual and I have no idea how to preset radio stations...can you help?
on most radios you can manually preset stations simply by seeking a station and pressing the the number (1 2 3 4 5 6 ) for a few seconds. this should lock that station into that preset position.

What channel do you set the radio to inorder to get audio from cd
88.7 , 89.1 I think. Give it a try if not then turn on the disc changer load the cd and once the cd begins to play hit scan on the radio and let the scan feature find the station for you, were ever it stops and u hear clear music then thats the station and just preset it on your preset keys.

How do I preset radio stations?
PRESET RADIO STATIONS
1 press RADIO BAND. AUTO PRESET to select the band.
2 Hold down RADIO BAND > AUTO PRESET for 2 seconds until "AUTO"flashes in the display
3 Press DSPL/ENT/MEM. The stations are stored in the memory from the lower frequencies to the higher ones.

if a station can not be preset automatically.
you need to preset a station manually.
1 press RADIO BAND. AUTO PRESET to select the band.
2 tune int he station you want.
3 hold down DSPL/ENT/MEM. for 2 seconds until the preset number flashes in the display.
4 press PRESET + or - until the preset number you watn for the station flashes in the display.
5 press DSPL/ENT/MEM. The new station replaces any old one.

TIP the preset radio stations remain in memory even when all power is disconnected.

The radio was improperly installed; there are two 12V leads, one services the radio when on, the other, only the circuitry for the clock and presets.
Eventually, this shouldn't be needed if the manufacturers ever think about using a little bit of flash memory for the presets and a coin cell for the clock.

You didn't give any model number so researching the manual is impossible.
If you can find the model number, look for a user's (or installation) guide on line to find the wiring info.
