Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player
SOURCE: loading dvds on to Go Gear 4 GB
Simple language - the mp3 player came with a CD - it has a program on it that converts video called Philips Media Converter - unfortunately, it will not convert a whole DVD - it can only convert 15 minute or less, You-Tube type videos
If you didn't insist on simple language, I would tell you how to break your DVD into 15 minute chunks so you could put it on the Philips, but you are probably too simple to figure it out

Hello,
When your GoGear is stuck on the Philips logo, a repair can be made using the Philips Device Manager.
When not having installed this "toolbox" on your computer yet, go to the support site for this player:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=SA3245/37&slg=en&scy=US
Download the Device/Firmware manager and run the toolbox.
When needing more help, just add a comment in this thread.

SOURCE: is the philips mp3 compatable with mac computers?
fabricant says no but... yes. it is possible, but it is a hard task... to use philips gogear on a mac, switch your data connection on options to msc. after that, you can plug as a usb driver. if you want to sync it with itunes, you need to use a program called itunemywalkman, at this program, you will configure paths for pictures, videos, musics e etc, then sync.

Hello Sami
First try to remember if the water touched your mp3 player lately . If you suspect water damage , then try this solution here . If you don't suspect water damage then try to replace the battery . If that didn't help , then try to update the software of your mp3 player . If that also didn't help , then It must be hardware failure . For hardware failure you need to take your player to the service .
good luck .
