reinstall your camera acer crystal eye webcam driver, use acer cd driver

Uninstall webcam and restart computer it should automatically reinstall the driver for the camera and if not try updating the computer if still not working go to Acer support and look for the drivers and software for the type of Acer you have witch is the 4720i and make sure also you are installing for x64 or x32 bit computer found in your PC Properties... Did you guys install the right driver? some of the acer models have more than one webcam driver because some models have diffrent webcams but all those drivers are posted under the same series of notebooks.
