Hello, i have an hp color laserjet 1600 and the laser beam was dusty but it was working so i open the machine wipe the mirrors then the machine started showing door open message. i try everything by even changing the board on which you the door switch but the message is insisting
Hi you have to check the door closer assembly there is a liver that operate the door sensor

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press and hold the (Select) and (Cancel Job) buttons simultaneously.
3. Turn on the printer.
4. When you see the message Permanent storage init displays, release the (Select) and
(Cancel Job) buttons.
When the NVRAM init is complete, the printer will return to the Ready state.

The printer does not have mirrors if your talking about the lasers they are situated behind each of the toners through a long gap hope this helps.

The supply status report is based on what the kill chip is reporting to the printer. If that particular color is not printing then it is likely that current is not flowing though a particular component in the cartridge. I would return the cartridge and get a replacement.

Did you fix your problem? I have the same one. With Hp 2600N
All cartridge are new, and i removed the orange tab from each one.
I even tryed a second new cyan.
Did you remove All the orange tab from cartridge?
