See this WIki, teredo tunnelling is software to encapsulate IPv6 in IPV4 packet.
As IPV6 is now available, it is no longer required.

When i troubleshoot my computer it says "there is a problem with the driver for Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface. Reinstalling the driver might fix this problem." then it tries to reinstall this driver...

what you need to do is open up your device manager, you then need to click the action tab at the top and click add legacy hardwareicon1.png
then click next and next again it will then scan and find nothing click next on the screen after that.
Wait a minute and you will see a list of hardware appear, scroll down and choose network adapters then click next, then from the left column choose Microsofticon1.png then in the right hand column scroll down and choose Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter, then click next and this will install it.
To check just make sure it is set to show hidden devices, right click on device manager on the right and click view then show hidden devices

Teredo tunneling pseudo interface vista driver

they have not made a PC under the IBM brand name for quite a while. (2005) It is lenovo now. Go to their support website and download the Network Drivers for your exact model and install them. Sometimes there are more than 1 option, so you may have to try multiple ones.

Obviously you will have to use a different PC to do this....or connect a wireless adapter to your PC (if you have 1 to borrow AND you have a wireless network available where you are.

Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface cannot connect or start

If this message is in windows, then it is all driver problems. Try going to the intel website and looking up your motherboard, there should be several drivers in multiple categories to download, or one package, get the newest ones and install them all. Intel Driver Update Utility

Teredo is tunneling ipv6 over ipv4 without my permision and I want to remove the set up.

Uninstall it.
Ok so sometimes this IPv4 to IPv6 shim can become a problem and in some cases it does not appear in the list of adapters where you can quickly disable it. Fortunately there is a way to quickly disable the Teredo Tunneling interface using the command line. Open an elevated command window and type the following command:
netsh interface teredo set state disabled
