SOURCE: I NEED A WIRING GIAGRAM BECAUSE THEIRE IS NO COLOR

Hello nls124,

You can download a copy of the manual here at Crutchfield. The wiring color code is on page 31.

Vehicle wiring harnesses and color codes change frequently, but most likely you can get an aftermarket harness by Metra or Scosche that will fit your vehicle. That way, you can make the splices to the harnesses and avoid cutting or tapping into the vehicle wiring. Both www.crutchfield.com and www.sonicelectronix.com have harnesses for most makes and models.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: need to wire JVC model KD-G340 into a 97 Kia Sephia

Do not cut the wires from the car. Instead, call Crutchfield at 888-955-6000 and order the adapter part number 120701003. When you call them, ask for color coding. For JVC, refer to the attached picture. Match the adapter color code with that of JVC. If the adapter color code is the same, then connect ground (black), battery (yellow), and wire from ignition switch (red) securely. Turn on the car and see the radio works. If it works, connect one by one speakers and confirm. Remember, perfect connection gives reliable installation.

How to wiring jvc kd-r690s?

To wire a JVC KD-R690S car stereo, you will need to connect the power, ground, and accessory wires to the appropriate terminals on the back of the unit.
  1. First, locate the power, ground, and accessory terminals on the back of the unit. These are usually labeled "Power," "Ground," and "ACC," respectively.
  2. Connect the positive power wire (usually red or yellow) to the "Power" terminal on the back of the unit.
  3. Connect the negative ground wire (usually black or brown) to the "Ground" terminal on the back of the unit.
  4. Connect the accessory wire (usually blue or blue/white) to the "ACC" terminal on the back of the unit.
  5. Make sure that all of the wires are securely connected to the appropriate terminals.
Keep in mind that the specific wire colors and terminal locations may vary depending on your vehicle and the specific model of the JVC KD-R690S car stereo. You may want to consult the owner's manual or a wiring diagram for your vehicle and the stereo to make sure that you are connecting the wires to the correct terminals.
If you are having difficulty wiring the JVC KD-R690S car stereo or if you have any other questions, you may want to consult a professional installer or JVC customer support for further assistance.

Car manufacturers donot keep color code. Your best bet is to order a universal adapter. JVC color code can be found in the instruction book. I will attach a picture. upload is not working. email me to [email protected]
