Can i download zoombrowser for my canon ixus sd200 camera?

You may download Canon software from here.

You don't really need to use ZoomBrowser. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as ZoomBrowser or Picasa.

I can't download pics to computer. I connect the camera, turn it on, pics come up, select pics, click download and nothing happens. Zoombrowser used to come up and with new computer, it doesn't...

Two possible solutions: 1. After the pictures come up, right-click on one of them and select "open with" and choose Zoombrowser from the list. 2. Use a card reader. Create a folder on your desktop and when the pictures show up after connecting the card reader, simply select all (highlight them) and drag and drop to the folder. From there, you can import them to Zoombrowser. typrice_188.jpg

I've lost the installation CD ROM for my Canon 400D SLR. I now have a new laptop and want to download pictures from my camera to my laptop. My camera has a small problem whereby I can't release my SD from...

What you can actually do is download the Zoombrowser which you can use to transfer the pictures in your camera on to a computer. The link to where to download the software is below. Once you're in the website, just choose your computer's operating system (XP, Vista Windows 7, Mac, etc.) then download the zoombrowser. There are other softwares for your camera on the said site which you might want to download as well.

Canon zoombrowser Ex downloading problem

The sd1000 manual says that you will get this error when you have too many pictures on your memory card (aprox 1000). I am not sure how many I had on my 2GB card but it was a lot. I deleted about 50 - 100 pictures and then it started working again and the new pictures downloaded to the computer.

Canon zoombrowser Ex downloading problem

Try updating the Zoombrowser software.

If you have a connection to the camera, go into my computer and get images directly off the camera using scanner and camera wizard, microsoft's default program. This will at least allow you to transfer your images until you can resolve the software problem.

If you have no connection to the camera via your computer, you need to try some other troubleshooting steps to get a connection. I will post those below in the next post.

Downloading pictures from Canon Ixus to PC are being duplicated.

Hi Jaime, I used to have Zoombrowser and I know the setting you need to change, but please excuse me if my directions to it are not exact because I haven't used it for a while.

From memory the setting to fix this problem is in the Download Settings (or something similar to that), which you access from one of the menus in the top bar (it is in one of the drop down menus towards the right of the screen, ie, at the other end of the bar from the File menu).

In the Download Settings have a look around and you should be able to find somewhere that says "Download All", "Download New images Only" - select that you want to download news images only.

Sorry I can't be more specific as to where the setting is exactly, but it's been a while since I used Zoombrowser. The other option you have is to copy the files you want manually: Connect your camera as per normal to your computer, go to My Computer where the camera will be showing up as an external drive (eg, E or F and so on), double click this icon and browse to your image files. Then sort by Date and copy the ones you have taken since you last downloaded.

Let me know if you need more help.
