WHAT P1 MEANS IN THE DPAC7008 AIR CONDITONER?

It means the power is off or went off to unit . Check for power then power cycle unit to try and restart .

stop sitting on button.... I thinking its the starter in side there is a starter to run the fan motor when this has fail as they do you will get this code if you take the cover off and on the motor area there is a black box with 2 wires coming out of it this is the starter for the fan motor replace with the same rating as the one in the unit. they don't cost a lot of money but they were out over time.

I am interested in buying a Danby premiere model #317825.. its an 11,000 BTU Air Conditioning Dual venting system its says its cools up to 450 sq ft. For people who have invested in this system. Can you tell me how much did you pay for it. And it's it worth the money. Do you have major issures with the system or is it as easy to operate as the owner who is selling me his tells me it is? Appeciate any feed back. I don't want to get taken. For people who own the Danby premiere. Are you overall satisfied with it. How much did you pay for it. And is it easy to operate. Any feedback will help! Thanks

just type in the type of air conditioner on line when you log on and ask the computer or view functions for the ac when you doas i stated about enterig it online.

Hi, and here is what you need to do. Take it back and get one that works correctly!. This happens to many times as straight from the factory they come and will have problems before you have a chance to do anything. Before I would walk you through any trouble-shooting steps, I would ask you to take the time to exchange it so you don't mess up the warranty. Get a different one and be done with it.

May be your compressor, a cap or freon

New or used? Is is plugged in? Is there electric at the plug? Plug a light in there and make sure it works as a test. Next, check the water pan to make sure it is not full of water. There is a switch there that could be causing the problem.

The P1 code means the lower water bowl is full.
Put a pan under it an pull the lower plug (some 10" below the upper drain plug that I hope you have a hose attached to.

Usually means that you need to empty the water reservoir, or that the bucket is not seated properly.
