How to clear documents in printer queue

Logon to www.hp.com/uk

select support and enter the Deskjet model number.
run diagnostics
wait for report
follow instructions
hopeful that will fix it.

1. there is document in the queue but paper is out
2. Cartridge problem (remove and insert again)
3. Communication error
4. Cover is open

Hi, First of all, cancel all your printing documents. Then plug off your printer completely, restart your computer and now plug on your printer. Now give a new print command. It will surely print.

To install: Remove any old HP Deskjet D1460 drivers and you printer cable from your pc and install the driver first. Connect your printer when the driver software asks you to.

If it doesn't make it through the whole process... cancel the install, clear your cache/temp files ("ccleaner" is good, free, program that can clear out install/uninstall logs quickly, as well as browsing history and temp files), and reboot.

Once up and running, hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Task Manager Pane, close all non-vital programs running (including background processes like "iTunes helper") so you can attempt a "clean" install.

Have you tried going to safe mode, turning off the printer and manually opening it at the control panel>printers... try and delete or cancel prinitng at these settings...
