The water isn't filling into water softner for setting up

Depending on the washing machine, it is supposed to have a gizmo inside the softner housing that triggers the water during the rinse cycle to flow into the softner dispenser. Sometimes, they go missing or are clogged with hardened softner. Open the door fully open and carefully prize the entire housing out. Clean it with hot water and put it back in. Some machines require the slide in tray be raised about 70 degrees (most common) and then pull out, others require a downward angle.

Liquid Softener was clogged up over time.
1-Put hot water in the place of the Softener slowly and let it over flow to dissolve the solidified liquid.
2-Keep doing this until you see water at the bottom of the tub.
3-Run a small load to clean out the gum.

Help My front loading washer is not dispending

have you pulled the drawer from the machine and cleaned it thoroughly. break it down into individual pieces and clean the hell out of it. Fabric softener can build up over time and clog every crack and crevice. check also the hole the drawer goes into, water flows into the drawer mixes with f.s., bleach, etc. dilutes it and sends out the bottom.

Fabric Softner not leaving dispenser

Run some vinger through it. Fabric Softner leaves a filmy residue that can clog it up.

Softner still in the draw

The detergent/softner dispenser is located above the detergent drawer. A water pipe is connected to it and water entrance and distribution to drawer's cells (following the programmed cycle)are done by a lever's movement (part of the dispenser). The lever movement is controlled by two solenoids that received their power from the timer. By opening upper machine's cover you will have an access to the dispenser. Disconnect the power cable from the machine before moving to next step !!!! Look first that they are not any disconnected wires. Move manually dispenser's lever and see if water running to all cells (depend on your movement). In case it doesn't work properly remove the unit from the machine and try to clean it (I hope it will help, otherwise you should replace the unit). In case it works properly (manually) - you should test with a multi-tester solenoid's resistance. the one that doesn't have a resistance measurement should be replaced. Good luck !!
