Freedom SW series from Xantrex are the most advanced and capable inverter chargers in the mobile market. ... FREEDOM SW 12V 3012. 3000W/150A, 12V.
without the diagram, you will need to take a 12V dc test light and check BOTH sides of each fuse (IGN ON) and then replace the bad ones with the same size fuse
I had the same product and same problem. Amp fried because of overheating. I believe its the temperature circuit gone bad. You can get the schematics and bypass it, or run 5v or 12v directly to it removing the fan completely from the circuit. Or, take the cover off and have a fan blow on the heat sink while using it.
Yes, *if* you can find an exact replacement and get someone to sell it to you. In order to protect their propriety designs, Xantrex only provides OEM replacement parts to its factory authorized service network, but you might find one of them locally who would be willing to sell you the part, especially if the unit is on a boat (a Marine Freedom 25?), and can't be brought to them.
have the motor checked and replaced if no runnig the oven will not heat as it is a safty measure
on moter the fan blade could have been loose, the motor bearings could be worn out or the fan motor gone kaput
This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.
This is late response but this fault is your fan element. You have two of them, if heating slower than usual, it is only one that has failed. When replacing one, it is recommended the other one be replaced. Tripping the circuit breaker is the symptom. These elements 2100 Watt each are anywhere between $70 to $110.
