Be sure you have 12 volt at the connection
to the refrigerator from the RV. There's also a 5 amp fuse on the board
that protects the DC circuitry. Check that. There's a also a 120 volt
fuse on the board so you might be sure the AC is unplugged.
If you have the model that choses gas, 12V, 120 volt, then shuts down
with the ignition key, as to not blow up the fueling station.
These older models get confused as to which mode to select when the key is ON or Off,as they age. Just like us
So you may be in for a new circuit board.
To check the cooling ammonia system, the 110v heater or the 12Volt
heater can be hot wired direct to a power source , this will check the
cooling system, The 110 V is best to check , but be careful it will
knock Ya silly. Both heaters are in the flue burner stack tube wrapped
inside the insulation , chose the correct heater.
