Question about HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Printer
HEy guys ... i just bought a new black print cartridge and when i put it in its slot... it says Print cartridge error and the ON/Resume light is on, check print cartridge light is blinking................when i checked the estmated ink level it says...........the computer is unable to establish 2 way connection with the device............. Both the ink cartridges are in place but ..I NEED A SOLUTION ..
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Check the contacts, make sure they are clean and compare to the old cartridge.
Put old one back in to see if message goes away, if it does then the problem is with the cartridge itself (defective chip or contact).

Open the Dell 926's front cover with the power on and wait for the cartridge carriage to come to a stop. Remove the ink cartridges by pressing on the tabs at the top of each cartridge. Check the cartridges to make sure you have removed all of the blue protective plastic film. Look for the "Dell" logo stamped into the cartridges' lids to ensure they are genuine cartridges.
Clean the shiny metal portions of the ink cartridges with a damp microfiber cloth. Allow each cartridge to dry completely.
Clean out any paper, staples or other debris that you may be able to see, then reinsert the cartridges into their appropriate slots. Put the black ink cartridge into the left slot and the color cartridge into the right slot. Make sure both click back into place.
Close the Dell 926's front cover and turn off the printer. Unplug the power cord and USB cable from the printer for five seconds, then reconnect them.
If your Dell 926 fails to recognize the print cartridges after following the above instructions,
take it to a repair shop for servicing.

Open the lid of the printer. Depending on the model, there will be two cartridges on the right, one for black and one for color.
Find the cartridge that is running low on ink. The black cartridge will be in black, the color cartridge will have a patch of color (usually green) on it.
Pull down on the black clamp that is holding the cartridge in place and slide out the used cartridge.
Open the package of the new ink cartridge. Remove the protective tape and slide the new cartridge into the printer.
Snap the black protective case back into place and close the lid.
