It is on a small sticker on the bottom of the computer, smaller than
that of Microsoft COA. You can find there the service tag and the
express service code. you can also check for the service tag in BIOS
(press F2 during startup) and you can also check for express service
code in start - programs - dell accessories - express service code.
Sometimes the actual serial number is under the battery, but generally
all you need is the Service Tag (on the bottom) when dealing with Dell.
