If you don't have any speaker wires hooked up to it and it won't turn on, the only thing left to check is the internal fuse. First, make sure it's unplugged from AC, then remove the top from the receiver, 6 or 7 small phillips head screws. At the back inside corner where the AC comes in there is either one or two fuses, check them. If you have a multimeter, dial it to resistance & sound (meaning when the two probes touch you will hear a tone) touch both ends of the fuse with the probes, if you get tone, fuse is good, if not, replace the fuse and all should be well. If you get tone, you've got either bad transistors or a bad power supply. Could be a 100-200 repair. Hope this helps
