I have a Vibe bluetooth keyboard folio for ipad mini--can't find ON switch--nothing on bottom right! How do I turn it ON?

The manual for the Vibe iPad Bluetooth Keyboard Folio is completely wrong. To turn on the keyboard, press and hold the button above the word "charge" in the upper right hand of the keyboard. Blue lights beneath the word "power" and beneath the Bluetooth symbol should flash. In order to pair the keyboard, press the same button above "charge" and hold for a shorter time. The light beneath the Bluetooth symbol should flash.

Black screen on hp touchsmart 310-1020

A blacked-out screen doesn't necessarily indicate a broken monitor.
If the computer has run out of charge or is in hibernation or sleep mode,
if the screen is too dark, or if the display cable has come disconnected from the motherboard, the screen may appear black or fail to turn on. To fix a blacked-out laptop screen, troubleshoot the screen settings, check the LCD connector and see if the computer is awake and receiving power.
Touch the touchpad or move the external mouse to see if the computer is asleep or hibernating. If the computer fails to respond, press "Enter" on the keyboard. Press the power button if the screen remains black.

Confirm that the power indicator light, found at the front of the computer or above the keyboard, is glowing solid green or blue. Confirm that the power adapter is plugged into the computer and into a wall outlet. Confirm that battery indicator light is glowing solid green or blue. Hold down the "Fn" key. Press the up-arrow to see if the screen brightness increases.
Some computers also use the "F6" or "F7" keys to increase screen brightness.
Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off the laptop.
Remove the AC adapter from the computer, close the screen, and then turn the PC over.
Slide the battery latch to eject the battery. Pull the battery out of its compartment. Turn the computer back over, open the lid, and insert the edge of a flathead screwdriver or other flat, solid object beneath the bezel above the keyboard. Wedge the edge of the keyboard bezel off of the top cover.
Work your way along the edge of the keyboard bezel to loosen it.
Pull the bezel off the laptop.
Trace the cable coming from the laptop screen to the connector found beneath the bezel. Reconnect the display cable to the motherboard if the cable has come loose from the connector. Line up the tabs on the bezel with the slots along the top of the keyboard. Insert the right edge of the bezel into the gap above the keyboard, and then push the bezel back in place. Turn the computer back on. If the laptop screen is still blacked out, connect an external monitor to the video port on the side of the PC to confirm that the video card isn't defective. If the external monitor works, the LCD screen could be broken. If the monitor doesn't work, the motherboard or video card might need to be replaced. Hope this helps

My dell vostro 2510 won't power on, when i press power button to turn on the pc , the power light turn on for about 5 sec then it turn off itself,

Try this to see if can give us some codes with it's on board diagnostics. Hold down the function button of your laptop and then the power button while still holding down the Fn/Function button on the left side of the keyboard. See if this gives you either an error message on your screen or, flashing lights above your keyboard. Pay attention, write down what lights where lit up what ones flashed, etc. This is to diagnose if the LCD isn't working. Comment back if you get either the light code or the error code on the screen. IF nothing happens try holding the Fn/Function button on the left side of keyboard and holding the F4 button, see if that makes any lights flash above your keyboard.

When I unplug the power cord the monitor is bright. How can I keep it bright with the power cord in?

Normally the screen will dim when you UNPLUG the power cord. Is that what you are experiencing?

That is quite normal and is a feature designed to lengthen battery life when the machine is not connected to mains power.

In any case you can adjust the screen brightness. To do this you should be able to use the function keys together with the Fn button. You should find two function keys (along the top of the keyboard) that have symbos like a sun and a Plus sign and a Minus sign on them. Press the Fn key (bottom left on the keyboard probably) and then tap the 'sun +' key to brighten the screen.

Hope this helps. If not, please respond with a comment and I will give further details.

Flatscreen monitor

Solution: The following is monitor troubleshooting. If your monitor receives a proper display until it gets into Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP please refer to document CH000192.
Monitor is not on Make sure the monitor is on. If no power light (green or orange light) is seen on the monitor display try pressing the power button until it comes on. If no light comes on after several attempts continue to below connections not connected properly.
Computer is asleep If your computer monitor was on and you stepped away from the computer and upon returning it was black it's likely that the computer is asleep. Try moving your mouse, clicking the mouse buttons, and/or pressing any key (space bar) on the keyboard to wake it up.
Connections not connected properly Make sure that you are connecting the monitor to the back of the computer in the 15 pin (illustrated below) or older computer 9 pin connection.
video.gif If the computer is properly plugged in, make sure it's getting getting power.
If you are not receiving power from a known working wall outlet and if the power cord is removable, replace it with the one connected to the computer and attempt to power on the monitor again. If the monitor still does not get power or it is not removable, it is recommended that the monitor be replaced or serviced at a local TV / Computer repair shop.
If the monitor is receiving power, check the status light.
If the light is orange or flashing ensure that the monitor is not in a suspend mode by moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard. If the computer does not get a display by moving the mouse or touching the keyboard, turn off the computer and monitor and reconnect the data cable from the back of the computer, and if removable, the back of the monitor. Turn the computer back on; if you still encounter the same issue, continue reading through the other possibilities.
Monitor settings are not correct Ensure that the brightness and contrast is turned up or attempt to adjust the brightness and contrast. If adjusting the brightness or contrast has no affect on the monitor continue reading through the other possibility.
Does the computer beep when it is powered on and/or does it appear that the computer has activity? If the computer does not beep or beeps abnormally it is possible that the computer itself is experiencing a hardware issue or is exhibiting .

Hope this works for ya/ Please dont for get to Vote.Thank You

Love my new Saitek Keyboard, but I don't what some of the buttons do???

You can download a manual here: http://www.saitek.com/manuals/eclipse_manual.pdf For the 1, A, and Down Arrow: My guess is that these are actually the indicator lights for Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock. For the four silver round buttons: The top right corner of your Eclipse keyboard features a set of controls for changing your computer?s audio volume and the brightness of the Eclipse Keyboard?s backlighting. To reduce audio volume, press button A until the desired volume level is reached. To increase volume, press button B. To mute the audio output, press button C and press it again to cancel mute. Press button D to control the brightness of the backlighting. Press the button to scroll through lights off, lights full brightness and lights half brightness.
