Green Lines with Picture behind

I have a 52" Mitsubishi DLP and i left on friday night with it working fine but when i came home on Saturday night and turned it on i get green vertical lines for about 90% of the screen with some picture in the other space. All the audio and stuff works fine just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Could be serious...but first check the screen modes (for split screen, format, etc) to be sure the tv is set up properly for the picture you are trying to watch. Switch the input to a DVD or something similar. Is it the same? If not, you have a mode/resolution problem with the tuner and perhaps some other device.

Sony HHTS360 HDMI OUT does not send signal to my Sony HDTV. It worked fine Friday night but when I turned it on Saturday morning the tv message read "no signal" and I had no picture or sound.

Make sure your connections are good unplug and plug in again. They are not real hard to pull out. This is a bluray player correct? If that doesn't work, do you have any other cables you can use to test your blueray player? Depending on what you have for output, input, you can use "composite"(red, whute, green"), component(blue, green, red), to check output of bluray. You will not get audio using component cables. You will have to use red and white composite or digital audio. Let me know what happens at "add a comment"

Mitsubishi dlp 52525 garbled rolling picture. Picture just colored lines, rolling slowly. Sound fine, fairly new lamp.

You most likely have defective capacitors in your electrical chassis. It's best to send the entire chassis back to the manufacturer for total rebuilding. The cost is about $350 + labor, unless you can remove the chassis yourself.
Good luck.

Our Mitsubishi WD 52525 goes to blue screen and shuts off.

It sounds like you TV is overheating and the video is suffering and the lamp is overheating as well. Also, if your TV is over 2-3 years old, the mirrors (behind and below the big front screen) desperately need to be cleaned. Clean all filters and fans as well. (Look on side and behind the unit). Is the TV in a "hot" environment and/or dirty environment? DLP TV's are NOT sealed units. They need to be cleaned every few years to work well to have a good, clear, bright picture.

Green horizontal lines on screen no picture

The green CRT's (color picutre tube or color wheel, or ballast) will need to be tested for replacement.
It is quite common with these tv's

You will need an ohmmeter and or voltmeter and test each component for currency and accuracy

Mitsubishi WD-52525 with green horizontal lines

You need to replace the capacitors on the FMT PWB this is a common problem with the V26 chassis which is what your model number is. They have some bad capacitors that need to be Changed. There is a repair Kit available for the FMT repair.Let me know if you would like the link for the repair Kit. Please respond to this same post if you do want the repair kit which does involve soldering.
