The only weak spot on the main controller board is the small rechargeable battery or a lithium button cell.
The memory battery is to keep the parameter information.
When the battery is damaged the liquid (electrolytic) drips downward on to other electronic items.
Any items under the "drip" pathway will need to be inspected and clean.
The battery can be on the front or rear on the main board,
Spend some time to locate this battery,
A simple $12 item can stop the unit from operating!
Please email me the part number or spec, info on the battery on reply.

This is not sounding good. A reset normally would solve a problem with the logic on the circuit boards that control the unit, but that doesn't sound like it worked.
According to Schwinn, the troubleshooting procedure for a treadmill that won't turn on are as follows: Make sure the outlet is powered, it is plugged into the outlet, the device turned on by the switch and the safety key is in position. pretty elementary stuff - but I included it because that's what the manual says to do.
I can suggest the you try unplugging the power cord from the outlet for a minute or two, then plug back in & try to start the treadmill again. Sometimes that is the only way to be sure that there is no power reaching the circuit board(s) to perform a reset of the logic. If the circuit board(s) remain powered they can be "locked up" and will not allow normal operation of the device.
If unable to get the treadmill to run, you'll probably have to contact Schwinn Customer Support for assistance. You have a choice of ways to contact them as shown here.
I hope this got you going - or at least pointed you in a direction to get help. Please rate my reply. Thank you.

If the console takesbatteries, replace them. If this does not work or your console does not requirebatteries, check the reed switch or optic sensor. Reed Switch:Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The reed switch is mountedon the frame next to the front roller pulley. There is a magnet glued into thefront roller pulley. When adjusting the reed switch, make sure it is pointingdirectly at the magnet. Move the tip of the reed switch within 1/8" of themagnet. Also, check to see that the wire is not damaged, and is connected tothe console. Optic Sensor: Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The optic diskand sensor are located either at the end of the motor or the right hand side ofthe front roller. The optic disk spins between two sensors on the optic switch. The disk must spin freely without touching either sensor. The sensors can bemoved by loosening the adjustment bolt holding the switch to its bracket. Theswitch can then be slid. Center the disk.
