The best way is to trace that vacum line and see where it leads. If it has come off the intake manifold area then it will need to be refitted as it is a main vacum supply hose to other components.

Just find a vacume hose that has vacume to it when you accelarate with car running pull a vacume hose off from carburator check by putting your finger or a vacume gage to it to see if you got vacume if not accelarate the carb by pushing accelarator (left side of carb driver side) if you have vacume when you accelarate you can use that vacume line

Sounds like a broken or torn vacum hose, pcv valve clogged, or bad Idle air control motor. Did you spray carb cleaner on vacum hoses or near the plastic intake., and did the motor rev up or down? Those codes represent a lean condition which means most like a vacum leak or clogged idle air motor. Sometimes the intake manifolds crack or the intake manifold gaskets crack. FInd that vacum leak or inpect iac motor

these hoses are 4 the fuel emission syatem on the mtr they are vacume

spray water on intake and vacum hoses until motor sputters. when you where it sputters from then fix intake lake.

Water flows from pump to intake, check vacume hoses very good.

on 98 and up 3.2 and 3.5 v6 engines the intake gaskets are plastic.....thy crack and the truck runs rough.....listen for hissing sound or a check engine light....p0171 lean.

Be Sure your plans are designed for the right engine- 3.0 / 4.0 or even the smaller 4 cyls. The intake hose routing is different between engines. Make sure you do not have any EVAP system problems, this will cause your water for fuel generator to run problematic, meaning your engine may not be receiving the proper fuel/return pressure it needs causing an overtemp situation on your heads. good luck
