Do you really need the Samsung software?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Are you saying that you are trying to copy pics from your computer onto a memory card so you can play it in your camera?...It doesn't work that way.

Use a card reader to download your pics to a folder you create on your desktop.

If you've downloaded all the pictures from the card, format it in the camera. This should solve the problem.

The A7 uses SD cards, which max out at 2GB. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

you may try resetting it to factory settings, try to search for it in the camera menu. as for your second question; some cameras have internal memory,thus doesn't need memory card while others don't have internal memory and needs memory card.

Are you sure it's an SD card, 2GB or smaller? The A7 won't work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Your Digimax L60 will also recognize your SD card please select the option to save pics
