It is probably is the charging port. Have you tried a different charger?

If it is the charger port on you SGH-D900, You have 3 options.

1. get it repaired, under warranty if possible.
2. Get a new one

Charger port seems faulty and wont take a charge SGH a 437
Umm, that means it was exposed to moisture or is water damaged.

The water dmage may have caused the charg port on you D900 to short out.

If it is the charger port, You have 3 options.

Samsung D900 wont charge or switch on..
your phone hardware might be dead , there is no way u can start it , u need to go for a service of your phone and they will flash the entire hardware and reinstall the software
