The easiest way is a USB card reader for the computer. Remove the storage card and put it in the reader. It will be cheaper than a cable unless it is a standard USB connector lead USB to Mini-USB.
If the 10 most hated cameras in the world were listed, this camera would be on the list.
My advice is don't even try to turn it on.
If you turn it on and use it and then look at the result you will be sorry you turned it on.
It was made in 2005 and was an instant failure.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Sounds like you have set it to PC Cam mode. If you put it in Mass Storage mode, you don't need a driver to use it.
To put it in Mass Storage mode: Hold the Mode button while it's turned on. Select the 3rd option that appears (looks like a Swiss army knife) by pressing the button to take a photo.
