no you cannot substitute a 680uf 16v 105c in place of a 1000uf
if you want to put a better capacitor in place of the old 1000uf 16v 105c , then use a 1000uf 25v or 35v 105c
the voltage rating will allow the cap to better handle the circuit
Check the power PWB pico fuse F9A09 and if thats good check the following capacitors all on the power pwb.
Power Supply
C9A52 1000uF 16V
C9A59 1000uF 16V
C9A61 1000uF 16V
C9A62 1000uF 16V
C9A39 2200uF 35V only some versions
have this cap.
C9A40 2200uF 35V
C9A37 3300uF 16V
C9A38 3300uF 16V
Check 3 capacitors green and gold 2200uf 16v two 229uf 35v cp150 location if 16v cap the other two caps next to it ,other wise replace the deflection board.
You can use 16v or greater = I ordered 25v to keep the size down, 35v is ok,if you must, you can lean them over 90 degrees.
there is plenty of room............................T.
If they fit, sure but If I'm not mistaking, they are too tall. And they really should be the high temp caps, as if you do not use hi temp caps you will be in the same boat down the road. Good Luck
