The above site suggests taking a multimeter to test the condensor fan motor. If it fails the test, then it suggests replace the motor. Sears Parts may offer such and advice. AppliancePartsPro also offers Kenmore parts and answers question although I recommend that as soon as you learn the part number, you shop around a bit. Why not check SearsPartsDirect? They might supply a manual for free as well as parts. If that doesn't work, you may need to call a qualified repairman to test the condensor motor or see what else is going on.

faulty cercit board is what you have there sorry to say but it dose happen every so often get in touch with the poeple who you got it off and have the engineer look at it

This error code Er FF indicates a problem with the main control board. When the power cord is disconnected for 30 seconds and then reconnected, it resets the board. Sometimes this procedure corrects the problem and sometimes it does, for only a short period of time. Usually in this case, the main board will need to be replaced.

I pulled plug out of the wall socket waited a minute re-plugged unit in and so far error hasn't come back.

This is an error code for the icemaker fan motor.
If the control does not see a signal coming back from the fan motor you will get this error code.
Please see the image below from the service manual that explains the ER IF error code.

You may notice slower ice production but the other fans should be okay.

You can select the ultra ice option and see if the fan toggles on.

The fan or the control is bad.

ER FF error is malfunctioning evaporater fan

ER FF - found in another post = Error Freezer Fan. Removed freezer back panel (inside freezer), defrosted ice build up around fan. Error message gone for now. Easy fix at midnight - 20 minutes. Will be looking into ice-up cause.
