Can you retro install Isofix in a 09 reg x type jaguar estate

In the outer rear seats, you may use either the ISOFIX attachments or the seat belt. In the center rear seating position, you may only use the seat belt.

In a 1989 model vehicle it is unlikely that there will be integral anchor points such as IsoFix. You should contact Mitsubishi to discuss with them whether there are anchor points available in this vehicle or whether they can be retro fitted. Please note in order to meet standard for installing an IsoFix or similar fitted carseat the anchor points must be installed by the vehicle manufacturer.

plastic feed tube in the rubber boot from door frame to tailgate is damaged ,well this is the most obvious fault ,but a jaguar estate car and i bet its diesel as well ?? not like a nice mk2 3.8 with overdrive or a XJ6 is it

it sounds the switch has not been adjusted correctly the way is to start the engine then hold the brake pedal on with the new switch unlocked

Yes you do need to remove the bumper, remove the 2 torxs screws in each wheelarch, 1 upper bolt and 1 lower bolts behind the wheelarch liner each side. two nuts inside car each side along upper edge, 4 nuts behind trim on rear edge, and 3 plastic plugs along lower edge. Hope this helps
