Sony does list Windows 7 drivers for this machine. but to be certain download and try this utility from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20. If this says you're good, you are. It will also show you what upgrades in both hardware and software may be needed for Win 7 to run properly.

That is because the actual Sony model is VGN-S360.or VGN-S360P You should be able to verify it. The model nember is not on the bottom it is on the RH LCD hinge. I do not think you can download the drivers anywhere but you can try:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNS360
or just buy aa set of recovery DVDs from Sony
If you have the VGN-S360:

Hello seltiel_alle
Use your recovery disc . If you don't have one or if it fails , Xp is gone for ever .
If you are currently under Windows 7 Ultimate , or Pro , or Enterprise , you can download and install a virtual version of XP . You can get it from here : http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx and it's free .
