It used to be you could do all sorts of stuff, like make stinky smells and make loud pops and bangs. These days everyone is so careful that there isn't much you can do. In any case, I use Google to find more details about the particular set you are thinking of.

How do some scorpions glow when light shines on it?

Do scorpions glow? Yes. That's an easy question to answer. It's a bit more difficult to pin down what exactly causes them to glow. In fact, scientists are still working on finding a firm answer to that question.

What scientists do know is that something in the scorpions' exoskeletons cause them to glow. Scorpions, along with other arthropods and insects, have an outer layer called a "cuticle." Unlike the cuticles on your fingers, which are made of hard or dead skin, the cuticle on a scorpion is a part of its exoskeleton. This cuticle has a thin section called the "hyaline layer." The hyaline layer is what reacts to ultraviolet (UV) light, such as black light or moonlight, and causes the scorpion's body to glow.

The hyaline layer is really strong and truly stands up to the tests of time. In fact, scientists have found that even fossilized scorpions glow under UV light. Additionally, when scientists preserve scorpion specimens in liquid-filled jars, the hyaline layer can make the liquid glow! Crazy, right?

While observing scorpions, scientists have noticed that the creatures don't glow immediately after molting. Rather, the cuticles have to harden completely before they shine blue-green in the starlight. But scientists still don't know if the glowing material comes from a chemical reaction in the hardening process, or if the scorpions actually secrete the glowing substance.

K1500 1994 transmission wont shift

Not knowing your professional experience at rebuilding transmissions, I would say that with the installation of the kit there has been some errors made in the assembly of the system. Run the fault codes to see if there are wiring issues and TCM issues and have a pressure test done on the box to detect any problems with pressures and operations of the bands and clutch packs. I would leave the box in place until I found out exactly what is amiss or I would not know if it was fixed or not.

When was science invented?

" Francis Bacon is one of the most influential figures in the history of science, even though he never really discovered or invented anything himself. Instead, what Bacon invented, more or less, was the modern scientific enterprise itself."

reead more on above at :

Another Point :

"science is a human invention, even though it is worshiped and served like a pagan god. Science is about tools, its first and foremost a philosophy, originally it was called natural philosophy. The term 'science' is a word that simply means 'to know', there are two kinds of knowledge. The kind you know intellectually (theory) and the kind you experience (practice). Science is the kind you experience. Scientific theory is just establish facts organized systematicly. Eventually these theories can be so well establiched that they are called laws, like gravity."

Now my personal point of view :

No one invented science itself, science is the factual search for knowledge. What is science ? Science of the mind ? Psychology
Science of the stars ? Astronomy
Science of Religion ? Theology
Science of numbers ? Mathematics

Who invented that 1 + 1 = 2 ?
No one will ever know, its just a fact, a SCIENTIFIC fact. It is proven.

Science starts with a theory, theories are tried, tested, sometimes even ridiculed. Should enough poeple agree ona point of view the theory slowly become facts, facts eveolve into laws, such as Newtons three laws of gravity.

Did Isaac Newton "invent" this ? no, he merely made gravity factual in the sense that we can scientifically work and measure it and or its effects.
