Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire dryer, model# ATF7000ES, is not heating and showing an error code 56. The E56 code means there is high motor current, meaning it is possible something is going on with the motor. The other possibility is this is a false error code. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

What do error codes FDL and R11 indicate?

Hello Lidia, thank you for your inquiry!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer is not heating and displaying error codes "FDL" and "RL". I am showing that the codes you have provided are not valid error codes. I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for at least ten minutes. I see that you have already replaced the igniter; however, if you continue to have issues with the error codes I would suggest having a professional technician out. This will help you avoid any further unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt

Dryer wont heat up

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity dryer not heating up. There are some things that you are able to try. First check to make sure that the lint filter, the ducting, and the outside vent, are clear of lint and not constricted in any way. Second, reset your appliance by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. Once power has been restored, run any cycle. If you are still noticing that your dryer is not heating, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They should be able to diagnose your dryer and determine why your appliance is not heating. Hope this is helpful.

Frigidaire Affinity dryer error code?

you have a problem with the heat you can't just say it's the element or thermistor you have to unplug it,take it apart and get in there with a meter and check all the t-stats,element thermistor,if they check good you could have a bad computer board but hopefully it will be the element but if you just bought it the dryer is still under warranty for the first year so either call whoever you bought it from or the 800 number off of the machine
