If that happens again...  try taking the battery out and the sim card out and stick it in a bowl of dry rice.

I have washed mine twice. Just take the battery and the sim card out and place it in front of a hairdryer with the phone open for about two hours and leave it on a heat vent for a day. Replace sim & battery and plug it into the wall charger because likely the battery was shorted and drained...but they will come back. I think some battery materials like to be fully charged and then fully drained...so try to do that for the next few days this will help the battery life return to as normal as possible. Though battery replacement may be necessary.

Cell Phone was washed in the washing machine

You are far better off buying a new phone. Put the old one on Craigs list - looking for a repair person - for this problem and or say you want to sell it out right and take that as a down payment.

My son locked everything on my motorola razrv3c and doesn't know the code. I need to get it unlocked

If you or your son did not establish a password/lockcode, then try using 0000. This is often the default code set up in phones.

My motorola w175 went thru the wash, is dry now, but when i insert the battery, the phone lights up but the screen is off completely....is it toast??

You could try replacing the battery but the phone sells for $9.99 so a new one may be your best solution.

If it's aTracFone, contact customer service. They might be able to assist you in preserving your phone number and minutes

My son put his LG Shine through the wash. We immediately opened it up, removed the battery and dried it out as best as possible. We left on an air vent for 4 days, put in a new battery and turned it...

What you've done so far is perfect. All it needs now is more time to dry out completely.

If you can afford to do without it for that long, remove the battery again and leave the phone in a dry place. Come back to it after a couple of weeks and see how it behaves. Repeat this until it is back to normal.

After my son's KG290 went through the wash last year, it was several months before we put it back into service.

Hello, i just bought a new motorola v3c and im having problems with it. i get the same text mesaage like 20 times says duplicate and i get some calls but others go straight to voice mail and people say...

if your phone is thru att  you have a 30 day warranty  on the phone they should be able to replace it and get you a new one . The only thing that will cause the warranty not to go thru is water damage
