Question about DCS Ovens
Double wall oven model WOTD-230 keeps beeping, with a "F-" popping up on the display panel. I have tried canceling it and resetting it over and over, but the beeping keeps restarting at shorter and shorter increments. Please help to advise what this means and how to fix it? Thank you so much

Atlanta...sounds like you may have a power supply problem or the panel is bad. Cut the power, open the unit up and see if there is a fuse in there or a reset. No good? Then replace the circuit board. They just, well, die sometime. Happened to my microwave. Some units may be available remanufactured. Look around on the web.

Had the same problem last week - called DCS (which automatically transferred me to Fischer-Paykel) and was able to order the part from them. They knew exactly what it was, and shipped to me in CA from CA, it was less than $90. Just installed it, and the new one works swell. One suggestion - I drew with a Sharpie on one side of each of the three parts that plug into the board to help align the new one, and to install the wide ribbon cable (not really a cable, but you'll know what I mean), pull up on the two side pieces and the ribbon pulls right out. Keep it up and slide the new one in and then push the black piece down. That was the only part that took me a minute to figure out.

When this code appears and display is going blank too, it is always the control board. The only option is to buy a new one or get it repaired. It can be fixed quickly and reliably. www.fixyourboard.com
