No picture but sound

Wen i turn on ma xbox i hav sound but no picture , i can hear all the sounds that you normally hear when you turn it on but i hav no picture at all

You can try getting new lead cables, or send your xbox on if you have the receipt for it.

sounds like u hav an air bubble in radiator from cold take radiator top off then rev engine to see if it bubbles if it does do this till it stops bubbling then top up wen it cools down then put radiator cap on then check heater gets hot wen warm then this is solved

Sound but no picture

This might just be a bad HD/AV cable. I would recommend that you borrow and friends and try the cable first...well actually the first step would be to make sure they are in correctly & tightened up;)

Its either a defective video cord or a bad connection in unit where video data connects to binding post which the video cord plugs into back of machine.

if playing on a normal tv be sure to check if you accidently turned your cord on hd not normal if it is on hd ul hear the game but wont beable to see it

make sure the switch at the back of xbox is on tv or hd, whatever you use.

1 leads are in the wrong way i hav had the same problem move ur leads around or go and buy a hd lead i pad 9.99 from blockbusters for a hd lead its worth a try

Sound, no picture on my 360

hi there i have repaired many 360 consoles this is a comon problem the gpu chip inside has pritty much had it and died, you will still get sound but no picture this realy isnt repairable nothing short of getting another motherbord for your xbox,

Not is all lost yet xbox will replace your motherbord inside your xbox for free as long as its still under waranty if not when you call them tell xbox that before you lost the picture you had 3 red lights appear on the front of your console this repair is covered for 3 years from date of purchase

No detection

unhook ext drive from laptop...turn off hd...then reconnect to laptop..then turn hd back on..see if you can see it then.
