There should be a voicemail/Vmail button on the phone. From there, you dial in the extension and password.

I just went thru this.
Push the Voicemail button, hit # until it asks for mailbox #, then hit 70 for password. Wait for main menu, then hit 3 for options. Then hit 2 to record your greeting. Now the tricky part,,, I don't know if these are all programmed the same way, but it will ask for the number of the box you wish to change, ours is 800, then follow along.

What I'm trying to find out is how you can import a prerecorded message (mp3) as your greeting.

It turns off the same way you set it :-)

Go to the idle phone and press #4. It's a toggle so if you do it again it will reset DND. There's also a FEATURE 4 command for one-time DND.

First try adjusting the ringer volume up. Also, you need to be in the ring group to have your phone ring on an incoming call. If you are not in the ring group, you'lll need to contact your local tech service.

I need help resetting the password to my Comdial 7260 00 voicemail.

To reset the password on your Comdial 7260 00 voicemail, follow these steps:

My calls go directly to voicemail on edge 120

Normally when calls go directly go to voicemail, there are a couple things why this happens:

- Extension are unavailable/busy
- Call forwarding/Do Not Disturb are on.

If you do have call forwarding/Do Not Disturb on, please consult your user's manual for detail instructions since there are several options for call forwarding (Forward All Calls, Forward Busy, Forward N/A, etc.).

I have a Comdial Edge 120. When a call is transferred to an extension and is not picked up at that extension within a certain period of time, it goes to that extensions voicemail instead of bouncing back...

I'm not familiar wiht Edge terminology, but the idea is you set the transfer recall time to something less than the call forward to voicemail. It means that any calls to voicemail have to be direct transfers and there may be some auto attendant issues.
