i have exactly the same problem, returned my tablet 3 times and done fresh installs but it still occurs. each time i returned it they re-wired the wacom unit and it looked like it did the job but then started again a few weeks later. phoning acer up again to see whats happening as i'm still in warrenty. out of interest is it the bottom right corner when in laptop mode?

I did install Windows XP and with drivers i have its working like magic but only Journal which XP dont have this in , as for drivers you can allways download it from MoBits web. Site.
Now i need help with Battery any body knows where i can get one as it seems the ones comes with the unit are shelf life expired.also any body knows how to up grade RAM as when i did install i bigger DDr it didnt recoqnise it.

Can't exactly help you, but I'm in the same situation. I got a crack across the middle of the screen on my 43 while it was in my pocket. It seems like this might be a problem with the gen 8 tablets, but Archos is currently refusing to consider it defective.
Press firmly down with your thumb on the laptop base just above the F4 / F5 keys, if the display improves while doing this it is simply a loose connection which is common for tablet pc's. If this does not help, then it is either a short in the connection or worse case an issue with what is called the inverter. In any case this is an issue that requires opening up your laptop to fix. If you are not comfortable doing this sort of work call up your local computer repair shop, I recommend a personal business over a corporate one, as you will receive better customer service and more likely than not if it is a simple cable connection issue small businesses will take a few minutes out of their day to fix it on the spot and charge you far less.
