if you are refering the the three red quardrants (aka red ring of doom) you are suffering from a general hardware failure. Caused by the warping of the printed circuit board inside the unit, causing components to lift of the board, if under warranty, i strongly suggest sending back for repairs, microsoft seem to enjoy making thses little boxes a joy(is there a sarcasm button?) to work on as i have the learnt the few i have had to repair..
