What kind of thermal fuse do i need for a Haan Si-35R steamer mop ?

Unfortunately, I don't have specific information on the Haan Si-35R steamer mop, including details about its thermal fuse. However, I can provide you with some general guidance on thermal fuses.
A thermal fuse is a safety device that interrupts the flow of electricity in case of overheating. They are typically designed to be non-resettable and need to be replaced if they are triggered. Here are some steps you can take to determine the type of thermal fuse needed for your steamer mop:
1. **Check the Manual:**
Refer to the user manual or any documentation that came with your Haan Si-35R steamer mop. The manual may contain information about the thermal fuse, its specifications, and where to obtain a replacement.
2. **Inspect the Existing Thermal Fuse:**
If the thermal fuse in your steamer mop has blown, you can inspect the fuse itself for any markings or labels that indicate its specifications. Note down any information such as voltage, current, and temperature rating.
3. **Contact the Manufacturer:**
Reach out to Haan customer support or the manufacturer to inquire about the specific thermal fuse needed for your model. They may be able to provide you with the exact specifications or recommend a suitable replacement.
4. **Measure the Fuse:**
If you have the technical expertise and the necessary tools, you can measure the dimensions of the existing thermal fuse and check its electrical specifications. Be cautious and ensure the device is unplugged before attempting any measurements.
5. **Professional Assistance:**
If you're uncertain about the replacement process or lack the technical knowledge, consider seeking assistance from a professional appliance repair service. They may have access to replacement parts and can ensure the correct installation.
When replacing a thermal fuse, it's crucial to use a fuse with the same or equivalent specifications to maintain the safety and proper functioning of the appliance. Using an incorrect or incompatible thermal fuse can pose a safety risk.
Keep in mind that the availability of replacement parts may vary, and it's essential to obtain the correct part for your specific model. Always prioritize safety and, if in doubt, consult with the manufacturer or a qualified technician.

Where are 2 fuses on a Dyson V11. My V11 won't turn on. I've replaced the battery and put on a new filter.

This confirms there are 2 fuses but not where?
Is There A Fuse In My Dyson? Yes, there are 2 fuses in your Dyson vacuum that you should know about. The first is a standard electrical fuse that prevents damage from faults like short circuits and power surges. The second is a thermal fuse that prevents the vacuum motor from overheating and damaging the appliance.

There are two disassembly videos here that _should_ show the location.

Motorized Brush head on pro aqua has quit working. it seems like there is now power getting to it. i check connections and all was fine. there seems to be a fuse. how can a tell if the fuse is bad

There are several ways to determine the integrity of a fuse.
1. examine it carefully. There are often visible signs of a blown fuse. The visible metal is melted or burned away.
2. check the fuse for continuity with a test light or volt/ohm meter.
3. Jumper around the fuse with a pair of alligator clips and a short wire.
4. replace the fuse with a solid metal conductor.

How do you get to the fuse in the dc28?

The 3-pin mains plug will have a plastic fuse holder which can be levered open with a small screwdriver. Look on the pin side of the plug. There will also be small writing on the plug to tell you which size of fuse is fitted to the plug. Replace with the same size of fuse. It is important to note that the fuse in the mains plug is only likely to blow if there is an electrical issue inside the machine, so replacing the fuse may just result in the fuse blowing again. If this happens then the vacuum needs proper checking and repair. DO NOT try using a bigger fuse, as you may cause more damage to the vacuum, or cable overheating or risk of electric shock.

Where is the fuse located in the microwave? The model is a Whirlpool MH6700XV1 made in Sept 89. It is a wall unit over the oven microwave.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

There are acutally 2 fuses in this unit. The thermal fuse is item 3 and the regular fuse is item 7 of this link: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=238334

Both fuses are on the rear of the unit inside the back panel attached to the air guide (Item 5 above link)

Make sure the unit is powered off before changing any fuse. Most fuses fail due to a component failure. High Voltage Diode, Capacitor, Magnetron or an interlock switch. If you replace the fuse and hear a loud humming when you try to use it most likely the diode has failed. DO NOT do anything beyond the fuse without grounding the capacitor first. It will ruin your day if it is charged and you touch a wire terminal. Any testing is done at your own risk knowing the dangers of same.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Shredder does not power on

Good day!!!!

please try to check the plug if it is OK..

Then look for the fuse if busted...

If the fuse is busted look at the fuse if only disconnect the wire inside so that you can determine the cause of blowing of fuse..if the fuse is dark or have color black inside your machine have a short circuit..if not got fluctuate high current in split second (that is normal)..just replaced the fuse with the same type and ratings..

If the fuse always blows after power ON your machine need further repair it have short circuit..

Thanks for using fixya...

Electrolux oxygen 3 fuse

The fuse on my ELECTROLUX Oxygen3's sumo board did have clear markings: F5AL250V - this is a 5A/250V 20mm fuse made by BEL FUSE, however, any other such fuse should work. The fuse on my board was blown (luckily, what caused it seems to be a glitch as replacing the fuse was all that I had to do). I got 5A/250V 20mm fuse from RadioShack and, expecting that this could happen again, I also installed a simple (5A/250V-rated) automotive fuse holder (also from RadioShack) (the only fuse holder that was available at a local store) and it works wonderfully now. Should the fuse blow on me again, I should be able to replace it in less than 3 minutes.

Power head

If you have checked the power delivery down to the powerhead and you have current running to the powerhead, then you likely have a burned fuse. There is a fuse built into the powerhead motor and is usually located on the field winding. This is not easy for a novice to replace and even most professional repair shops will replace the motor. It is possible to replace the fuse if you know what you're doing, but if the fuse blew, there may be a more serious problem, after all, the fuse is there if the motor starts to experience distress and the fuse will blow to avoid any electrical issues. The fuse can blow if something is jammed into the roller and causes the motor to labor heavily. If this is the case, then the fuse can be replaced safely. If the motor is burning out, then a new fuse will just blow immediately after replacement. What I do is take the fuse out and run the motor without it to see if the motor is still viable and replace the fuse if the motor proves to be o.k.
