Cleaned out lint but light remains flashing and dryer will not turn on
The problem may be with air flow through the lint filter screen. The filter is a fine screen and even though it appears to be lint free, it may not be. Spray the screen with a degreaser, use a soft brush to gently scrub it, and rinse under running water. This may solve your problem.

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt 500 Electric Dryer: lint filter light goes on even though it does not need emptying
I had the same problem and figured if the lint sensor is clogged, covered or otherwise gummed up with lint, dirt, hair, etc then this will continue to happen regardless of wether the lint trap is clean.
So I took my compressor and blew out the slot where the trap slides into...stuff flew everywhere (so watch your eyes or wear goggles). I then vaccumed it up and did it again... and again and again each time loads of stuff came out. Once nothing blew out I loaded the dryer and have not had the problem since...
This makes sense right? so if you can try this solution.
SOURCE: Lint screen light is on, dryer won't start!
If you use dryer sheets they create a wax coating on the lint screen, even tho it looks clean, use dish soap and hot water to remove this, dry it then put it back in and try it.
Hope this helped.Let me know by rating me

My Bosch Nexxt electric dryer had the same problem with the lint filter light blinking and the dryer not running. It turned out that the door switch was not engaging. The service technician informed me that there is a plastic tab (available only by opening the top access panel) that was not fully snapped in place. When he snapped the tab back in place and then secured it with a screw, the door switch fully engaged, the lint filter light went out, and the dryer ran perfectly! I hope that helps you!

I just found that the filter itself was not allowing airflow- I tested by blowing through it with my mouth- no airflow. I cleaned it with a high pressure air hose and noticed that the flow is much better now. I cleaned it by hand several times, and washing in water (which may have made theproblem).
