When I plug it in and switch it on, the Jura Capresso C1000 makes a lot of noise for 10 sec. Then, all the green lights and red lights blink alternately. It doesn't do anything. I tried to get steam, but it doesn't do. Any ideas how to fix it?
Thanks.
I put coffe beans in the ground section; now all lights are blinking? I am as good as tots if I broke this new coffee machine. Please help!
I had the exact same problem, including the LED's. It was the 184 degree Centigrade 16 amp E5A00 Microtemp brand thermal cutoff element, screwed to the top of the boiler.
It should be about 0 ohms at room temperature, but it was open, instead. I got a new one at my local appliance parts store for about $4.
I crimped it back into the (120 volt) circuit, the appliance guy said soldering it back in would ruin it.
Now all is well.
