Swich off the machine, try some WD40 on the door mechanism (on machine lock, not on the door) and open & shut for a minute or two. Then try the machine, spin only just to try.

Ok this is easy there was a defect on all of them don't worry easy and free fix I want you to call this # (800) 659-7026 they will get your info and send someone out to replace control board. Free. In mean time I want you to unplug washer because it's dc motor it still has juice so hit power then stop tell the lights don't come on plug back in and enjoy the temp fix tell they come out to fix it. Don't worry I sell them and I have one and it is still a great washer it was just the first one out of it's kind so it had flaws but sears is taking care of it's customers.

It is suggested to use nylon washers, not rubber, in combination with steel washers, as well. Try using two nylon washers on each side of the motherboard, and two steel washers on each side of the nylon washers. So that it will look like this:

Nylon washer
Steel washer

Are you using the correct M5 washers? Did you use Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste?

Did you allow the GPU to "bake? After you do the xclamp fix, it is good to position the fans onto just the CPU and let the xbox run so that the GPU overheats, and this "reflows" the solder. Let it do this for about 20 minutes, until the GPU heatsink is extremely hot.

I would recommend doing the above because it seems like you may have fixed it from overheating to the point that it red rings, but the root problem hasn't been fixed, and allowing the GPU to bake usually solves this.

the plastic round stopper most probably broke that is were the stoplight switch sits when not depressed easy fix find a washer small enough to block the hole were the original plastic stopper was making sure the washer aligns to the brake light switch and secure washer w/ zipties hope this helps.

Doesn't your unit have a lock light in addition to an on light? On mine when you start the machine a red light comes on, then after a minute or two the lock light above it comes on. Once the lock light lights, the machine shouldn't stop. If only the initial light comes on, the door isn't locking. As a result, as the drum moves the clothes and they push against the unlocked door, it turns the machine off. You might need to check/tighten the door latch. Also check the door wax motor/door lock assembly.
