Motorola factory reset - Motorola Cell Phones

If your MC3300 scanner is frozen on a white background with a blue Motorola symbol and says MC33X series, you can try a soft reset to see if that resolves the issue. To do this, follow these steps:

Remove the batteries for 5 minutes. There is no factory reset, it is just a radio.

To restart a Motorola phone, hold the power button until a screen appears in which you tap restart and ok. To factory reset a motorola phone, tap the menu key on your home screen, tap settings, scroll down and tap privacy, scroll down and tap factory data reset, tap reset phone, and tap confirm.

a you tube video shows a quick way. type in: 'Motorola EX431G factory password reset'. Warning, you have to know the existing factory pass for this to work.

If you can boot the phone go into the settings app, click privacy or backup/restore and then click factory data reset. If you can't try to go into recovery mode.
