My jandy pda will not turn on after changing the batteries, any suggestions?

My jandy 8265 pda not learning j box. Stays in learning mode with jbox learning stitch to on. Pda never goes to having u turn off the learning switch

Power aqualink system down all breakers turn off PDA then thurn aqualink back on then PDA should work if not need more info
