Wireless adapter issue

Hi there i gave had this problem for quite sometime and are not able to work out a solution. The problem is that my wireless internet connection keeps disconnecting automatically. There is no problem with the modem as this problem isnt occuring with any other connection. I have noticed that on my laptop the wireless adapter light is flashing instead of being constant. Is there any solution you can think of that will solv this. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Luke

1. Click on start go to control Panel--> got to network and sharing center

2.In the left side click on click on manage wireless networks

3. If you find any networks , right click on in it and click on remove it(remove each network one by one)

4.then go back to network and sharing center

5. Then in the Left side of network and sharing center , click on change adapter settings

6. You can find Wireless network connection, right click on it and click on disable

7. After disabling it right click on it again and enable it again

Wireless adapter will connect to router for a while, then connection quits. Sometimes it stays on for a while - other times not for very long. Lights on the modem stay on but connection does not return -...

Hi there, sounds like you need to sync your modem and router. First turn off the power to the modem, then to the router. After a few minutes reinstall the power to the Modem then to the Router. Restart your computer and see if you now can connect. Good Luck...

Wireless 360 Network Adapter won't turn red

This can actually happen quit a bit but it sounds to me like the usb jack may be dieing or not producing enough power. This can be caused if for instance you use wired controllers. Have you tried using the front usb ports.

I own a HP DV9000 my wireless quit working

Check the Device Manager to see if the Wireless LAN device is working and enabled. If not reinstall the Wireless LAN driver.
If the Wireless LAN is OK and enabled then sometimes when you bootup the Wireless LAN card doesn't get an IP address from the wireless router. This usually has a red X on the wireless connection icon and sometime you get an error message "Limited or no connection".
To get the router to issue the wireless LAN card with a new IP address, righr click on the Wireless icon and click on Repair.
You can also power down the router wait 15secs and power up the router again then reboot the computer.
If it still doesn't work you could have a faulty wireless card, see it your friendly computer shop can test it for you.
