I can arm a track for recording but when I press record I get an error message that reads " To continue where you left off you must restart Adobe" At this point no matter what Adobe shuts down. I can reopen Adobe Audition 1.5 but when it is time to record the error repeats. And repeats AND REPEATS!
Help me. Help me please!!!

Normally if you click on help at top of menu, then detect and repair normally sorts it out

this happens a lot with the "portable" version and it sometimes happens when you have cracked it
if neither is your case it may be possible something deleted the info from your registry, just reinstall the program to solve it

Hi Mekarim,
You may try this:
1. Open the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe folder and look for a folder starting with Type and meaning Type support; in 10 it is called TypeSpt;
2. Create a namesake folder on your Desktop;
3. Move all the contents to the namesake folder.
Please report back, including the name of the folder.

My best guess to start with is a reverb setting of some sort.
Are you recording in multitrack or edit view? If one, try the other, and see if you get the same results.
Another guess would be a sound-card setting. If you have any special effects setup on your soundcard (onboard, pci, pci-express, usb, etc), that could cause it. Things such as 3d-surround settings, environmental settings, etc..
Also, what version of Windows? What sound card/ audio interface?
