Question about Belling XOU492 Electric Double Oven
Posted by Anonymous on
I had the same problem. I believe it’s because the screw bracket On the element behind the shield is a few millimetres out. I solved this by removing the screw and gently twisting the element until it sat centrally around the fan. Took several attempts to get it right and there’s a possibility the element may break if you’re heavy handed. The only option I could think of was redrilling a small hole above the existing one to accept the self tapping screw but we’re only talking a couple of millimetres.

Your oven must be fairly level for the fan not to make a noise.

SOURCE: no fan or heat
Hello..... have you (a) checked that you have power going to the oven...(b)...With the power to the oven switched off open the terminal block (where the cable from your socket enters the oven) check that all connections are secure....(c) remove the rear panel of the oven and check that the safety stat is ok.......(usually small square white or gray unit wit two wires running to it found on rear of main oven...it is usually fixed to a bracket or directly fixed to the cabinet...test for continuity with a multimeter if open circuit ..that is no meter reading relpace it
