you may have an issue with the ballast module for this DLP tv, that module has the two large red wires that connect to the lamp socket. check the 47MFD 450V capacitor on this module. If swollen replace the part, but also check the large electrolytic capacitors, two of them on the power supply module, where you power cord attaches, one or both of these may be damaged if the 47 MFD on the ballast module has failed.
You will need soldering skills for this repair.
If the fans are ladden with dust, this could also cause premature lamp failure, these lamps require clear ventilation, overheating is the enemy!
The parts on the Power Supply module will be to difficult to locate so the best thing is to replace the power supply board. The power supply is in stock at www.shopjimmy.com
