A local repairman would be able to solve the problem, as a last resort.
check to see if the water is draining completely. let it fill then drain and cancel unit check to see if this works if not check the drain pump. might also you will want to check soap, alot of times you can add jet dry and lets say a cascade with jet dry shine sometimes can over suds a machine this will cause the unit to keep rinsing to get the soap out,so when it finally ends there is extra water in unit. it is called over sudzing. let me know if my tip helped you.
normally its two things, 1 over sudzing or 2. or a semi clogged drain. over sudzing can be caused by using jet dry and let say a cascade with a jet dry shine that can cause the unit to have alot of soap. in some units the way it operates is that when the sensors see there is alot of soap it will keep rinsing to get out soap until it cant rinse no more.reduce with a regular soap with no extra jet dry, your drain may has to be cleaned it might be a slight blockage. let me know how you made out.
dont use soap with jet dry or rinse aid in it. use regular cascade soap and fill completely with jet dry rinse agent. your unit is over sudzing .if this is helpfulto you send me a 4thumbs up post
your smell is comming from over soaping
a front load machine only needs 1 Tblsp of soap
any thing it builds up and rots thus the smell
get a crystal dish soap
1 cup run the machine empty a full cycle
now use trhe proper soap it will clean away
The F02 error code indicates a “long drain” If after 8 minutes of pump time the washer is not draining, you will get this error code. I would recommend checking the pump filter, drain hose, pressure switch & pressure hose. Be sure you are using HE (high efficiency) laundry soap.
You need part 12001772. The issue with the smell is a combo water, too much soap and too long of a cycle. 2 Tbl of soap and a lighter cycle is usually fine for these machines, plus to keep the soap drawer clean:) Here is a pick of what you need. See part 18
