HP rp5000 desktop keeps shutting off

You need to open the case and watch the CPU fan. If the fan is not spinning or is spinning slowly it will need to be replaced. Take the computer into your local computer repair shop so they know which processor fan you have for a suitable replacement.

You may notice a large amount of dirt and dust build-up around the heat sink and fan. You can either buy a can of compressed air and give it a blast or take it to your local garage and use an air hose or tyre inflater to blast the dirt and dust from the entire case.

I have an rp5000 pc that beeps five times, pauses and beeps again five times repeatedly

If you have the software that came with the printer, go to the next step.
If you do NOT have the software, go to the HP support site & download it.
Then uninstall all software relating to the printer.
Unplug the printer from the power and the usb from the printer to the computer.
Reboot the computer.
Install the software & follow the onscreen instructions.

No video, changed main board, memory, processor, power supply and riser card. Still no video....

Hi,

If you just about replaced the guts of the machine then the problem could be the monitor itself. Get another monitor and try that. If it comes on then you know the monitor was at fault.

Hello i have hp rp5000 pc which have AGP port onboard but when i put graphic card in it it doesnt recognized it. I tried with another hp rp5000 bios but it doesnt work anyway-is there anysolution?

Erm, although the slot is labelled AGP1 (HEY HP Accelerated GRAPHICS Port 1 ???), it is not for a graphics card.
It is intended for an enhanced USB card that adds additional USB ports as well as 12volt and 24volt outputs.
The RP5000 was designed to be a POS (point of sale) unit and the additional ports were for devices such as barcode readers, handscanners and card readers to be plugged into.
