Delete the fax and check paper tray rollers are cleaned. May be missing feeding which mean roller can't grab the paper and machine is expecting the paper to be at a certain point and does not see (Though sensors though out the paper route thru the machine so it thinks there is a paper jam) Also mite want o clear the memory (SRAM/DRAM) will lose one touches so make sure you have list backup

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/normanj_7893313f0751935f

SOURCE: paper jam

open doors and find these solenoids, clean them and make sure they are moving fine, its not so hard. just step by step move with paper and find out where the solenoids are. solenoids aren't expensive so if its a solenoid problem you should fix it

If the paper is not situated perfectly in the tray, and it cannot grab the top sheet easily, mine will give the paper jam message. I just adjust the paper in the tray, then open one of the doors, front or back, and close it again, and it usually fixes the "Jam".

I keep getting an error message about a paper jam for my printer but there is absolutely no paper jammed anywhere in the machine.

Have you tried a new toner cartridge, The toner cartridge has moving parts, and of the cartridge gets stuck, the printer may indicate a paper jam.

Also paper often tears when clearing jams, and the little shreds of paper can stay in the rollers of the printer and keep it jammed. Make sure to inspect all the rollers to make sure they move freely, and do not have anything stuck in them.

As soon as I started using recycled ink cartridges, I started getting a paper jam error on my printer. The control panel message instructs me to remove the back panel and clear paper jam. I've done this several times but there is no paper to clear and the message keeps coming back. I've tried turning of the printer and unplugging it to clear the memory, but that doesn't help. Could it be that the chip on the ink cartridge is messing with the printer's operating system?
