My Linksys EA 6500 worked perfectly until 2 weeks ago when it started displaying "SSL Connection ERR" when trying to connect for google, for instance. The message is displayed on wireless and sometimes on cable too... I looked into the configuration page, i reset it and still not working. What can I do?
It is probably not the router but your OS.
Try and run a SSL Fix program to correct the OS.
Thank you @Glenn Seaton, I have added google, facebook and other couple of sites using SSL connectivity in the Trusted Sites section of the Security tab in IE. Now i can surf the net using the router just as before. But another problem that i haven't mentioned before still remains: I can't access, via this router, from my Andoird 4.4.4 youtube or any multimedia websites. Other, like news or anything works perfectly but not Youtube... Any ideas?

First make sure your wireless local area connection support to 270mbps speed. make sure compatible driver is inastalled for wifi lan. Then if every thing on computer is fine then you need to access your router. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then click on wireless settings change channel type to 3 or 6 or 111 by 1 then save settings and restart router then check..Set channel type which gives best speed. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Let me ask so your laptop wont connect on the router wireless network with security enable on it with either 5.0 or 2.4 GHZ settings? If that is the situation try disabling the one of those, you can try first disabling the 5.0 signal and test it out and then the 2.4 and see if one will be working with the other setting being disable.

Hi Brian, I haven't had this specific problem, but I did have trouble with my E1000 losing connection often. What seemed to solve this for me was to update the Firmware. Have you tried that? You can go to Cisco's homepage and download the proper firmware for your router by following this link http://goo.gl/Ildp6. You will have to select your hardware version which you can tell by looking at the tags on the bottom of your router.
