How do i delete my sim card contacts?

SIM card registration failed for a few reasons:

Try removing the SIM card and wiping the brass coloured contacts carefully with a clean dry cloth. Re-insert the SIM and try the phone again.

Have you tried several different SIM cards to make sure the fault is not with the SIM? try wiping off the gold contacts on the sim with a qtip and wiping off the contacts on the phone. Make sure its in correctly. And if its still not working you may need a new sim.

open up the back of your phone, look at the slot where you put you sim card, try to elevate it just a little just to make sure the contact point touch the sim card, try to clean your sim card with pensil eraser and wipe it with clean clothe,then insert it and open it..

Here's what you need to do:

1. Remove the SIM card and wipe the gold metal on the SIM with a clean cloth.
2. Re-insert the SIM card.

If the phone still ask to install the SIM, then try another SIM to isolate the problem. If same problem occurs, contact an authorized repair shop and have them repair the SIM card slot.

Try taking the sim card out and giving the contacts on the sim card and the phone a wipe with a clean lint-free cloth

Are the contacts in phone memory or in sim memory?? If in phone memory, There's no problem. Switch on the phone and manully delete all contacts. There's no need of the sim to be inserted. If the contacts are in sim memory then insert the sim. Switch the phone on, and scroll contacts. Chek and find the no.s which have the sim image, it will surely be a sim contact. Then delete it. If you are fearing that your contacts ( if in sim memory ) will be deleted and it is important then first switch on the phone with sim. Note down all sim contacts, after that delete. Then if you give your sister another phone which she likes, switch on the phone and then install all sim contacts which you earlier noted down.

You can try to wipe the sim contact with a dry cloth cotton type much prefered or soft eraser will do. If this doesnt help try the sim to other phone. If work try to clean your phone sim card connector with dry cloth. It this doesn't work. Try other sim to your phone, if still doesn't work. Your phone needs to be check.

Cleaning shall be done when the unit is off.
