How do i make the screen wider or in full picture mode?

You need to be on a digital channel, standard TV will show in the middle of the screen, like letterbox. If you're using an antenna, go to channel 2.4. if you have cable, go to a higher number channel (on fios, channel 2 digital is 502)

I have a 19'' aoc flat panel,l19w861.after installing a new antenna i tried to reprogram it but all i saw on screen was the words

If no sound and closed captions (writing) appear in the menu look for (it may also be found in the box menu for cable box) captions and either turn it off or select a different choice.

Most sets (not the cable box) will offer captions all the time or only when sound is muted.

Screen on tv just says no signal

When installing a new antenna, a TV will often need retuning in order to operate with the new antenna.
Using your remote, access the TV's menu (settings as oppose to TV guide) and you should be able to access a tuning menu, this may be located in Picture, or have its own section.
Select the setting for automatic tuning and you should find that the TV uses the new antenna to find its channels.

How to install an amplified indoor HDTV flat antenna? Have not purchased the product yet but I am very interested in purchasing it.How do you install it? Please note I have a LCD Flat Screen TV made by...

The antenna, will more than likely, come with a feed cable with a screw type F connector that you attach to the antenna connector on your Phillips TV. Pretty simple! Most antenna's will come with complete installation instructions.

No colour on television

Hi, It is possible that the reason for the black & white as well as lines across the screen is weak, defective or wrong oriented antenna. If you are hooked up to cable, then it should not be a problem as you can call for service; if on the other hand you are using aerial antenna, you can try to: reorient or adjust the direction to where the antenna is pointed until the reception improves, check the lead in wire (cable or flat) for any breaks or shorts or loose connection, check/clean the connection of the antenna elements to the cable/flat wire, replace your aerial/cable as may be deemed fit and needed. A couple of questions pls if the above does not solve your problem: when receiving from aerial, is the picture full vertically? are you also having problem with sound? If yes, where was the TV bought and where is it being used now? If no, is the image snowy and some channels/stations are better than the others? Good luck and pls post back how things turn up or further information. kind regards.
